ViewSonic NMP-560 Industrial-Grade Network Media Player

The Viewsonic NMP-560 Network Media Player is an industrial-grade, high-definition digital signage playout device that connects to your existing network via Ethernet 10/100 Base-T. With its 2x USB ports, 4 GB solid-state local storage, and CompactFlash slot, it also functions as a local playout device.

With HDMI and VGA outputs, the NMP-560 is capable of HDTV formats up to 1080p, and it also plays out PNG and JPG slideshows. It's capable of decoding high-definition MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, VC-1, and WMV9 video files, as well as MPEG-1 (layers 1 & 2) and MP3 audio.

For setting up a local digital signage network, Signage Manager Express software is included. Supporting TCP/IP and HTTP protocols, the networkable device is loaded with a Linux operating system as well as W3C-SMIL 3.0 software.
