The Auray MS-5230T Tripod Microphone Stand with Telescoping Boom features durable, steel construction. The telescoping boom arm is adjustable from 19.3 to 33.9" in length, allowing you to angle and extend the mic placement however you need it. Auray MS-5230T reviews

MS-5230T Tripod Microphone Stand with Telescoping Boom is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than you'd think I found this stand to be superior in construction in many ways to stands costing NOT A LOT MORE, but certainly more. It might come down to what you prefer. There is a stainless steel locking mechanism for the boom arm that I prefer to the plastic knob on a Peavey stand I have. I like Peavey, but that knob does not look like it is built to last. It will with me because I am careful, but who knows. You can't really go wrong with this stand. Good value for the money. I might also say that if you are shopping around like most people, B&H is always going to have the best price on new gear, and I think their shipping is a well-oiled machine. WAY better than the equally giant competition. Way better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was Blown Away! I was not expecting a very good mic stand for the cost it was listed (around $), but this thing totally surprised me. It is mostly metal, with the knobs being plastic, and it is very sturdy. I wanted a simple stand to hold a shotgun mic during interviews and meetings, and this will do just that and more. A great buy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good utility stand This basically goes in the truck for every job. Besides the intended purpose, we use it with a 1/4 adaptor for all kinds of tasks, even lights if they are not heavy. I guess there are two not-so-great things to mention. First, the legs don't stay folded up on their own. A bungee strap takes care of this ok. The other not-so-great is that it doesn't come with any kind of soft case or carrier, so the aforementioned unfolding legs are particularly inconvenient. Still a fine product though, I would buy another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They're ok. These stands do the job ok. They're worth their low cost. Don't expect wonders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised by the quality Surprised by the quality of this mic. I usually buy K&M but B&H recommended this as a lightweight alternative. Like it so far, I wouldn't hang a U87 on it in the studio but a Beta 58 for live is working out perfectly. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfectly functional For the money, it's a perfectly serviceable mic stand. Not heavy duty. I use a Yeti with a Blue microphone shock mount, and a 5lb. weight on the opposing tripod leg. It holds it steady, although you do have to make sure to reeeelly tighten it, unless you don't mind repositioning it over and over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality for the price Nice lightweight Microphone stand, but sturdy. Great value for the price. Would definitely order again when needed. Purchase 2 for our church for this holiday season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for the price I use this stand to hold up a Blue Yeti mic. It works great although I needed to hold the stand in place with a sandbag due to the mic being quite heavy.
