The juicedLink DIY102B Accessory Bracket - Left Side is an L-shaped mounting bracket that hosts a DSLR or other small videocamera and, to the left of your camera, several accessories such as monitors, batteries, wireless audio receivers, etc. Composed of CNC-milled aluminum with a black anodized finish, the 102B features 15 unthreaded 1/4" holes for mounting accessories.
The DIY102B Accessory Bracket is designed for mounting lots of accessories to a "run-and-gun" DSLR rig. For operators who also do a lot of still work, the L-shaped bracket enables direct access to the camera shutter and controls, and one accessory can retain direct access to the camera's hot shoe for mounting and power.
Included with the 102B bracket are a 1/4"-20 socket cap screw with a rubber pad for attaching a camera or a camera quick-release head, as well as several other 1/4"-20 socket cap screws with rubber pads for mounting accessories to the DIY102B bracket. The bracket itself can mount easily to the top of a tripod or to a 15mm rods system.
For handheld camera operation, you can grip the camera and the vertical part of the bracket to achieve hand separation, which engenders stable shooting.
