Lensbaby's Sweet 35 Optic is a 35mm optic with a 12-blade diaphragm and adjustable aperture (f2.5-f/22) that gives you unprecedented precision control over the "sweet spot" of focus in your selective focus photos. Use it with the Lensbaby Composer, Scout, Muse, or Control Freak lens body--just rotate the dial on the front of the optic to quickly change the size of your in-focus "sweet spot".

Lensbaby Sweet 35 Reviews
Truly a Sweet Optic
Love this lensbaby - know what you are asking for when buying a lensbaby but if you like LBs then you want this one in your collection.
Sweet Sweet 35
I had used the Wide and Telephoto optics before and the Sweet 35 is a welcome addition. No more fishing or insert disks for f stops. A built in apperature is a very welcome addition.
The ultimate in lensbaby lenses.
This is such a great addition to my lens baby composer. I find that I am using this more in the recent days for its creamy effect. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an additional effect for the bag.
More practical than the 50mm Optic
I use the Lensbaby Composer on my Canon and also Micro 4/3 (with adapter). The 35mm focal length is more useful for me. The adjustable aperture is much more practical than the drop in apertures of the 50mm.
Quite different experience
I have only used this sweet 35 optic for a few times, taking flowers in an arrangement. I love the Composer Pro itself with the ease of changing aperture and focus, but in saying that, it is still quite a steep learning curve to get the focus spot-on. As there is no electronic communication between the lens and the camera body, the challenge is to totally manual focus.
mas fcil que el 50mm
I decided to go for the sweet 35 because my lens hardly used baby by the difficulty to be changing the diaphragms and not so easy to focus in manual mode. This new lens has the advantage of bringing their diaphragms through leaves and is very easy to switch, so the 35mm focal length and makes the compositions are simpler approach
I've been using the Lensbaby system with my Panasonic 4/3 cameras for 4 or 5 years. I started with the Composer Pro with the Double Glass Optic and have added the Fisheye and some other optics. For me the best thing about the Sweet 35 is the adjustable aperture. The addition of adjustable aperture to the tilting lens mount is an enormous improvement over the aperture discs. The image quality of the Sweet 35 is very good. My only complaint with Lensbaby is that they don't make make an adjustable aperture optic that is wide angle for the 4/3 format. For my 4/3 system, the Sweet 35 is the 35mm equivalent of a 70mm lens. But for that, I would rate this product as 5 stars.
Yes, I recommend it.
I love lensbaby and like this focal length.
