question

I noticed in the reviews someone mentioned they used this for greeting cards- is it double sided? I'm having a hard time finding a metallic/pearl double sided 5x7 stock.
Asked by: Anonymous
No, it is not double sided. And we do not have any other brands that are double sided in a metallic surface. The person in the review might of printed text on the other side but it is a trial and error method. It is not coated so the ink might not stick on that side and can on many printers smear.

question

Does anyone know the archival life of this paper?
Asked by: matilde M.
I am reading that (100 years in typical home display, 200 years in dark storage, one to five years for commercial display). I can tell you that the images are beautiful. I print on an Epson and a Cannon. Both do a wonderful job.

question

How does this surface compare with Ilford Gold Fiber Silk? Thanks
Asked by: Anonymous
Both surfaces are similar in sheen and texture. The Metallic Satin paper yields the kind of stunning results that previously could only be achieved in the darkroom. Featuring a high-gloss surface thats compatible with dye-based and pigment-based inks, Metallic Satin creates prints that are sharp, vibrant, and exceptionally rich looking, The Gold Fiber Silk will yield slightly less vibrant results.
