I quit buying 3rd party batteries for my Pentax cameras. Still have all my initial OEM Pentax batteries where the 3rd party batteries have long died.
These are Pentax OEM batteries. They work great and are designed they way Pentax wants them to work. They last longer then replacement batteries and most importantly they have the proper circuitry to charge correctly without overheating which other batteries over time tend to do. These are not short-cut batteries. Thats why these are twice as much. When you spend between $700 to $3000 for a DSLR do you really want to put cheap knock off batteries in your expensive camera? These OEM Pentax batteries last longer per charge, charge safely and last years longer then replacement batteries at half the cost. Get these...you'll be happier in the long run.
