The Zing Standard SLR Action Cover (Black) is a one-piece, wrap-around neoprene cover that stretches over the lens and self-secures without buckles, snaps or zippers. The case has a removable elastic waist strap. When used in conjunction with the photographer's own camera neck strap, the waist strap holds the camera tight to the body. Camera can be removed from cover for shooting without having to unfasten the waist strap.

Zing Designs Standard SLR Action Cover Reviews
Fits Nikon F3 with 50mm f1.2 AiS
I bought this as an alternative to using dedicated camera backpacks and slings so I can thrown in carry-on luggage and day packs. Had no idea what to expect and anticipated returning it. However, was pleasantly surprised at how well this fit as a generic size. Stitching looks and feels robust, Material is thickness seems to be on par with other similar neoprene products (not too thin but could be slightly more thick for my taste). The material is of sufficient quality. Case has been on camera for over a month and is still tight - has not fallen limp, no sag. The case has an elastic strap sewn into the fabric with plastic quick release clips (edges of the base plate). This is a gimmick and essentially worthless - wold never trust using the as supplied strap (that's why 4 stars). The neck strap eyelets on the camera line up with the opening of the case on each side perfectly. It gets a little sloppy when I change out the high eye-point view finder for the DW-3 waist level finder. I snapped a few photos to show you the fit.
Convenient, cheap, good with short lens
I bought this for easy access while walking around / hiking. I try to stay to one lens, so this is perfect. However make sure your lens isn't too long. I'd say max 3.5 to 4 inches.
