The S711 features dual tape speeds, which let you squeeze three hours of recording onto a 90 minute tape. After completing a recording, you can easily review it at regular speed or use the Quick Review to play it back 25% faster. Monitoring messages is made simpler through the placement of cues wherever needed and the built-in dynamic speaker delivers clear, authentic playback of recordings. It also has an earphone jack for private playback. The S711 runs on batteries for recording in the field, but it does have an external power jack for making longer recordings when you have access to an outlet.
