Chief lists this model as supporting up to 75". Everywhere else lists as up to 58". Which is correct?
The important factors when choosing a mount are supported weight and mounting hole pattern. This mount supports 125 lbs. and mounting patterns from 100 x 100 to 800 x 400mm. With these specs there are many TVs larger than 58" that this mount would still work with. However, since this mount extends up to 25" from the wall, a 90 degree swivel would only be possible with TVs up to 58" diagonally.

question
Thank your for replies on my question, I realized I was not specific enough. It is a quality mount, yes.My TV is 44 wide. Specs on mount says it extends 25 forward. I infer I should be able to pivot the TV 90 degrees (this point is essential for me):25 > (44/2) Is this correct, or there are some other factors at play, and I will not be able to swing it? If so, anyone can advise other mounts? (Option to hang mount forward off the wall to extend the clearance is not going to work for me, it have to be close to wall when collapsed). Many thanks!
I can now answer my own question, perhaps this can be of use to someone. In case of this mount, I guess TV cannot be fully turned because of two arms in place of one - they create something like a broken triangle, limiting articulation. Thanks to B&H customer help, I had other suggestions:1) Premier Mounts AM100 Low-Profile Ultra-Slim Swingout Mount (Black) B&H # PRAM100 Mfr # AM1002) Peerless-AV SUA746PU Universal Ultra-Slim Articulating Arm TV Wall Mount (Black) B&H # PESUA746PU Mfr # SUA746PU3) SANUS Premium Series VLF525 Full-Motion Mount for 51 to 70 Flat-Panel TVs B&H # SAVLF525B1 Mfr # VLF525-B1I ultimately chose #1, better choice for a similar price. Great quality; also has a low profile; yet swings 30 on a single arm.Others are also quite nice, although #2 is a single-stud mount, and #3 is too pricey.

question
I need to hang a 50 class LCD TV.Does this wall mount allow to swing TV 90 degrees to the side?
No, the arm is not long enough for the sides of the tv to clear the wall. Try a ceiling/pole mount instead of articulating arm.
