This Body Cap for Canon Camera from OP/TECH USA protects the internal parts of a Canon camera body (which has an EF or EF-S mount) when there's no lens on it. The cap is made from a durable polycarbonate material to withstand the rigors of daily use.  There's also a thermoplastic rubber seal molded as an integral part of the cap which effectively grips to the camera body and forms a friction fit to lock out dust and moisture.

Good way to keep contaminants out

This cap fits snug. I'm sure the gasket will keep everything out.

Good for travelling against moisture

Thoughtful and well designed but can be too big and bulky to be kept. I stick a label on top of it which is not possible with the normal canon body cap. This body cap allows the body to be weather sealed without a weather sealed lens. I use a 1Dx which is very well protected against weather and during transportation I don't mount a lens on it so using 1 without a lens in the camera bag ensures proper moisture protection.
