The RM-P270U is a Triaxial Control system. A triax Camera Adaptor is included standard with the CCU for camera feed via a Kings type connector. This system offers camera control up to 5,000 feet withh a 14.5mm diameter cable.
The Triax Transmission uses high quality analog Component video, which offers a luminance (Y) bandwidth of 9MHz and a color difference (R-Y/B-Y) of 4.5MHz.
The RM-P270U has two Return Video inputs (BNC), to accept return video signals from two different systems. At the Triax Camera Adapter end, two channels of return video can be selected.
In addition to two Composite Video outputs, the RM-P270U has two outputs selectable between Composite, Y/C (7-pin).
A Program Audio Channel and a Bi-directional Intercom channel are supplied. Program audio from an external audio system can be fed to the camera head and mixed with the intercom audio, in order to allow the operator to hear all queues.
Mounts into a standard 19" rack, and measures only 2RU units high.
