The Vivotek IP8352 Supreme Night Visibility 1.3MP Network Bullet Camera, with a 1/3" CMOS image sensor (1.3 MP), is designed to deliver enhanced video at night time in addition to high-quality daylight performance.
Equipped with a 3-9mm varifocal lens, the camera offers wide and close-up surveillance. Featuring "Mozart 380" SoC technology, the unit supports H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG compressions with resolutions up to 720p HD at 60 fps and 1280x1024 at 30fps. Other features include video cropping, activity adaptive streaming, and Gigabit Ethernet transmission, which provide high bandwidth and enhanced storage efficiency.
A removable IR-cut filter helps the camera eliminate IR bleed in the daytime to produce detailed color video. With the built-in IR illuminator, the camera can offer night vision for up to 49' (15m). Tamper detection feature triggers an alarm when the camera is being tampered with incidents such as redirected, blocked, defocused or spray-painted. Integrated SD/SDHC card slot for on-board storage helps preventing data loss due to network connection and also makes efficient use of bandwidth by reducing the transmission of unnecessary data.
The IP8352 Supreme Night Visibility Bullet Camera supports HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol over SSL), which protects streaming data transmission across the network. With the ePTZ operation, you can move the focus to the viewing area for a close-up view for easy identification of remote objects without moving the camera physically. As the network camera supports 3GPP, you can monitor the surveillance area via 3GPP-enabled cell phones.
Power is supplied to the camera through a built-in Class 3 PoE (802.3af compliant); hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. IP66-rated weatherproof, vandal-resistant housing protects the camera against rain and dust, thus ensuring uninterrupted surveillance in exposed and high-risk locations. Mounting bracket hides the cable that runs directly through the mount into the wall, thus deterring vandals and thieves from cutting the wires. The outdoor surveillance camera is ideal for use in parking lots, entrances, communities, etc.
