Making Music with Garageband & Mixcraft is far from a simple software guide. Clear easy-to-understand descriptions, make it a powerful resource that requires no prior knowledge of the programs. The book encourages real-world uses for the software with hands-on exercises that allow you to easily identify the focus of each lesson and practice new skills as well.
The DVD includes engaging tutorial videos and it appeals to users of all backgrounds by using cutting-edge technology that is accessible and affordable to all, regardless of whether they use a Windows or Mac. Although software programs are constantly changing and being updated, the lessons included here are not limited to specific versions of GarageBand and Mixcraft. They include instructions on getting started with existing audio, working with MIDI, recording audio, podcasting, working with film, multitrack recording, mixing, mastering, and much more.
