Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works exactly as intended When my camaera bodies and lenses are stored I prefer to store them in pouches and thus the need for front and rear lens caps. I recently purchased the Sony a6000 with the 16-50 PZ lens and it was shipped with the lens mounted and a front cap. Thus the need to purchase the body cap and rear lens cap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It fits, and it works, just like the original one Would have been nice if Sony included one for the stock lens of the A6000 (the 16-50 lens). When using a non Sony lens like a Rokinon lens, the cap they provide gets stuck on the Sony lens. Solution buy another Sony Lens cap. This is it and it works. Funny because the real issue is the Rokinon lens cap which works for the Rokinon lens but gets stuck on the Sony lenses. The Sony Lens cap works for both companies lenses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Standard Replacement Part - Alternate Use I bought several of these rear lens caps because I'm currently using a Sony A7X series camera and third party lenses. I find the lens caps useful when I remove my lenses, adapter and all. Rather than take the adapters and lenses apart for storage, I just pop this rear lens cap onto the adapter, and the mfg lens cap on the lens, storing them mounted together for quick mounting later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Replacement for your lens In case you have lost the original or like in my case, that when I bought my camera body/lens set, they did not include the individual caps for the lens or the camera. I don't understand those savings from the photo camera business. Because if you pan to store your lens and camera separately, you need these two caps

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work with Sigma or Tamron Lens Tested with Sigma 10-20 f 3.5, Tamron 28-75 f2.8, Tamron 70-200 f2.8, all Alpha mounts. Tryed mounting on NEX-5n and NEX-7. Got Error message. Contacted Sony, the wanted me to check the firmware, it is 2.0 and said they don't guarantee with third party lenses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job perfectly It's a rear cap that does what it's supposed to do. Years ago, I was given one that was a bit too big, so now that I needed a new one, I chose ony by sony because my lens is sony, and therefore I wouldn't have problems, and that's what happened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again Great product. Needed this when I purchased my camera which included a lens. I then purchased more lenses. They had the rear cap. The original lens did not. It was easier to have the extra rear cap when switching lenses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it says Needed to purchase this to cover the back of my 16-50 mm kit lens that came with my a6300 body. Well, it covers it like it should, not that you should expect anything different from a OEM cap for an OEM lens.
