The Sony CBK-CE01 50-Pin Camera Interface and Digital Extender for PMW350/320 is required when you want to interface the XDCA-55 Camera Adapter to the PMW-350 and PMW-320 XDCAM EX camcorders. For studio configuration of the cameras, the XDCA-55 enables a connection (via two BNC cables and a power supply) to the Sony XDCU-50 camera extension unit, which receives audio and video signals and sends back control and return A/V signals.

The 50-pin interface is used to dock the XDCA-55 to the PMW-350 and PMW-320 camera bodies. No other connection cables are required
