    ASUS TF101 DOCKING Reviews

Eee Pad Transformer Docking Station is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 152.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Docking Station Shines This Asus TF101 docking station for the TF101 tablet computer makes text entry a breeze, adds two USB ports, holds the tablet at any angle you desire for viewing, and doubles the battery capacity from 9 hours to 18 hours. It also looks great, and locks the tablet securely into the hinged interface to the keyboard. Together, the Asus Tablet and Docking Station make an integrated whole, and you can still disconnect the tablet and use it when you need more physical compactness. A must for the Eee TF101 Tablet computer. My only complaint is that the touch pad is hyper sensitive, so keep your fingers off when you don't want to move the cursor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Addition With the addtion of the keyboard/dock my ASUS Tranformer has become the perfect comination of a tablet and Ultra Laptop. ASUS recently updated the Android Operating System to the latest version 4.03 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Properly setup, I have been getting up to two days of average usage on just the battery in the tablet. With the addition of the Dock battery it should run for at least four days. The build quality of the the keyboard//dock is in keeping with the TF 101 itself, which is excellent. I would and have recommened this combo to many people. As an aside, thereis a great user based forum for the Transforms should you need assistance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential companion for the Asus Eee Pad The docking station is an essential companion for the Aus Eee Pad Transformer. Not only does it transfer the tablet to a netbook equivalent machine, it charges the tablet whilst being docked and provides a full size SD Card slot expanding the overall memory by up to 32GBs. Also on the docking station is two USB ports to connect additional peripherals (such as a mouse, game controller, etc.) as well as a USB thumb drive to access files on the go. The keyboard is easy to type on and trackpad has multi touch capabilities such as two finger scroll. Would recommend this 100% to purchase alongside the Eee Pad Transformer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent shopping experience. I use the product with my ASUS Tablet and love everything about it; the way it connects with ease, the logic at which tasks can be performed as well as the rugged quality of the hinge. THere's a learning curve because we are all used to Windows and this is Android but given a week or so you begin to appreciate how easy it really is. Additionally B and H is great... price was the lowest anywhere bare none. I found the same product $50 higher elsewhere. With free shipping and no tax how could I resist? Oh yea and it was here at the exact time they said it would be/UPS shipped. Love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Transformring the Asus Transformer A wonderful addition to the Asus Transformer. Turns it from a tablet (media consumption device) to a notepad (media creation device). Not only that, it also extends the battery life. Only one glaring issue here: there are reports that if you drain the dock's battery below 3% it will no longer charge. It is expected to be fixed in a near firmware upgrade. Minor grievance: Since I am bi-lingual (English/Hebrew) I have installed a Hebrew soft-keyboard app on the Asus transformer. There's no key or key combination to switch between the two languages. I have to resort to using the Transofmer's touch screen for that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A must have! My only issue to this point is accidental touchpad interaction (which can be turned off with the custom button). Even though the button is available to turn it off, I have to take extra movement to turn the touch pad off then back on again. Also the shift keys are so small that quite often I press Enter or the arrow key instead. Overall, this accessory is a must have. It provides an additional SD slot, as well as the 2 USB ports. Charging the tablet with the keyboard is super fast and efficient. I love having the flexibility of using a standard keyboard if necessary, then being able to remove the tablet and go super mobile.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from much better that typing in a tablet This is pretty useful if you tend to write long emails, or create small documents (office-like) It does not plug extremely easy, you need to apply some force until it clicks correctly. Most of the time I find myself using the key to disable the touch pad, because due to the size of the keyboard you end up touching with the palm of your hand and messing your writing. The light to show you that is of battery is located on the side, and sometimes you miss it, but I already found a free app that put a widget with the battery % . This is the cool stuff, some minor stuff are easily fixed because the OS is open source

Rated 4 out of 5 by from keyboard dock It is awesome to extend battery life though it is a bit heavy but I guess that's because you pay for 16 hours of battery life. I will say I am use to regular keyboard shortcuts and find myself trying to use them on the stock and they don't work because of android. additionally it seems slow at times inputting text not sure if it's the keyboard or the tablet. it does get a wow factor though when I have it in network form and take the tablet out and walk around. not to mention you no longer have to have a stand if you use the keyboard dock. 1 good thing is the keyboard dock keeps the tablet fully charged until the battery on the keyboard dies & when you remove the tablet it is fully chargred. I actually got more than a published 16 hours out of mine
