The Canon DR-DC10 DC Coupler for the PowerShot A800 and A1200 replaces the battery pack in the camera body and allows it to connect to an AC adapter. To plug the camera into an AC outlet, you'll also need the Canon CA-PS800 AC adapter (if you already have an AC cable) or ACK-800 (which includes the CA-PS800 adapter and an AC cable).
