Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lived up to high expectations I travel with a Leica rangefinder and often want to capture a night photo from my balcony. I don't want to bother with a tripod, especially on a work trip. I'd heard about The Pod and wasn't sure. I works brilliantly! It's like screwing your camera's bottom plate onto a super-solid bean bag, that can be molded to sit on anything. I used to use a smashed coke can or just try to hand hold it at 1/2 second. This Red Pod Bean Bag is ideal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tried it....it works great After I received this, it worked out that I was taking a short trip, and didn't want to take any of my tripods. This worked great for my Sony DSLR (with a fairly short lens) and my Sony RX-100....very good purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Getting Down Low I use this bean bag to shoot mushrooms, mostly on the ground. There isn't a tripod that can get that low. It is lightweight, easy to keep clean and the screw, which I expected I would not use much turned out to be very useful. I plan to order two more to mount small LED's for lighting in the woods at close range. Works well on tree branches, car window openings for stability with lightweight cameras too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little product, but... I bought this, primarily, for dash top work. As it arrived, it has a somewhat slick vinyl bottom face. Since the dashboards in our cars are hard plastic, I had to be inventive and figure out a way to keep the Pod, and my camera, from sliding around. I ended up cutting out a circular piece of rubber shelf liner... similar to the product used to keep area rugs from sliding on hard wood floors. I didn't mind being inventive, as the low price point still makes this handy little mount very much worth it. Just be advised about the bottom surface.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product Very useful for run and gun video. Fit to places usually hard to place like a dashboard of a car etc. Excellent to put on a ski/trekking pole to shoot video while moving fast on the trail. Very quick to fit and stable. The bottom is a bit slippery, but it could be use as a slider sometimes on smooth surfaces. I own three of them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hmmmmm Initially purchased for use in multiple vehicles. Did not work because it wasn't tall enough for camcorder to focus over hood of vehicles and no non slip material on underside to help it stay in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stable as a real tripod I can take two-second exposures, no problem. It's small and light and can be used where you can't take a tripod.
