The Vitek VT-CN1680/500 Digital Video Recorder (16-Channel, 500GB), based on the Embedded Linux operating system, features 4 spot output, and offers real-time digital video recording and playback capabilities. Videos are recorded at up to D1 resolution at 120 PPS, and then stored in the H.264 format in the 500GB hard-drive. You can easily configure the speed, quality, and resolution of recorded videos according to your needs. H.264 compression helps reduce video file sizes without compromising on the quality and integrity of images. Pentaplex Operation allows you to simultaneously record, playback, mirror, copy, and stream the recorded videos.
Videos can be recorded in Continuous, Motion, Alarm, Video Loss, Emergency, and Schedule modes. The DVR uses an enhanced proprietary Database Structure that provides quick and easy access to stored videos. Videos can be searched using calendar, event, text and time parameters, and can also be remotely viewed via the Internet Explorer Web Client or the provided CMS (Central Management Software). It supports RJ-45 network interface with data transfer rates of up to 1Gbps.
The VT-CN1680/500 comes with 4 USB 2.0 ports that enable quick and easy archival and transfer of data. Data can also be backed-up via the built-in CD-RW, DVD-RW drives. The DVR features multilevel sensitivity for each channel and uses a 16 x 16 configurable grid for motion recording. Channel offers notifications via e-mail and callback. It also offers System Setup Wizard, and uses a GUI that is identical to the one on the client viewer, for uniformity and enhanced ease of use. In addition to multi-language support, the GUI also provides a configurable picture-in-picture display. The DVR also includes iPhone client for easy synchronization with the iPhone.
