I bought this product to prevent my camera from adjusting the white balance of my off-camera strobes. Unfortunately, after several attempts it's apparent this "translator" doesn't fit into the hot shoe on my Canon EOS R and is... totally useless.

I want to connect my rolleiflex camera with my b10 flash manually... would this hot shoe work with the air remote ttl for nikon?
While the Profoto Air Remote Transceiver, B&H # PRAR, would be the better transmitter for your usage needs, the Profoto Air Remote TTL-N for Nikon, may be used with the Nisha Hot Shoe--Universal Translator. However, you will have to use the Profoto Air Remote TTL-N for Nikon manually as Nikon's i-TTL automatic exposure system is not compatible when using a hot shoe adapter.

question
I want to put this on a camera that has a hot shoe slot but not a PC connection. Then going from the Universal translator to a flash with a 3.5mm plug so it can be fired with the camera. Will this unit work for that purpose?
Seems like it should work based on the features. There is a hot shoe contact on the bottom and a cable port to your flash. Would need that cable. Have not actually used it this way though. I use it to have a Pocket wizard talk to an off camera flash that only has a hot shoe connection.
