The Bosch VG4-221-NCE AutoDome PTZ Camera System (Nitrogen Pressurized Housing) includes an 18x color PTZ camera with 4.1-73.8mm lens, a nitrogen pressurized housing, and a clear bubble. With a 1/4" Exview HAD CCD imager, the PTZ camera delivers clear images at a resolution up to 470TVL. A minimum illumination of 0.5 lux makes the camera suitable for lowlight conditions.
Integrated Autoscaling (proportional zoom) and Autopivot features allow the camera to automatically rotate and flip, ensuring optimal control. The AutoDome has 360° per second pan/tilt speeds, and supports 64 pre-position and a single preset tour. In addition, the preset tour feature is capable of handling 64 pre-positions with a configurable dwell time between pre-positions. It supports menu languages such as English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and Polish.
Using the MPEG-4 compression technology, the AutoDome camera supports 4 CIF resolutions at 30 ips, and makes efficient use of the bandwidth capacity while delivering crisp images without compromising the quality. With the innovative CTFID (Configuration Tool for Imaging Devices), you can remotely change the camera’s settings as well as update firmware. The advanced built-in diagnostics ensure easy servicing and minimize downtime. You can use the OSD to quickly check the critical parameters such as internal temperature and input voltage level and verify if the dome is functioning within acceptable operating limits.
The optional hybrid/IP configuration allows the camera to simultaneously stream IP video via LAN or WAN, and CVBS video via coaxial cabling. It also enables you to send network video streams over IP network, which can be viewed on the DiBos Digital Video Recorder, or on a PC running VIDOS video management software. Equipped with a BNC connector, the camera can be directly connected to a conventional analog matrix switcher or DVR, providing enhanced viewing and recording flexibility.
With Ethernet communication, the camera supports standard video and data transmission methods such as TCP/IP. You can also perform remote control, configuration, and firmware updates using the cable.
Equipped in nitrogen pressurized housing, the camera is ideal for applications that require constant wash-down such as traffic, transit, bridges, tunnels, and coastal installations. The IP67 rated housing protects the camera system from the harsh environmental conditions. In addition, the optional XT (Extended Temperature) kit allows the camera to operate in temperatures down to -67°F (-55°C).
The PTZ camera system includes a rugged polycarbonate clear bubble for enhanced image clarity with a recessed bubble latch to prevent vandalism. Allowing ample light, the clear bubble offers maximum sensitivity.
