Needed a PCsocket cap to finish my vintage Canon A-1 restoration. A small part but very important. Shipping was speedy as usual and item was described well! Thanks!

Does the job

I lost the PC socket cap on one of my camera bodies while shooting at night. I left it uncovered for a while but the body is weather sealed and I have been known to shoot in rain and snow so I decided a replacement was a good idea. Surprisingly, the manufacturers' ones are not easy to find so I decided to give the Nisha cap a try. It fits well and it seems to do the job of protecting the socket. I suspect this cap will fit well in any PC socket. Now that I am fairly sure it will fit any of my cameras I will add a couple to a future order - just in case.

Just what I needed

Fits perfectly to keep dust & moisture out of PC ports. It will be easy to lose. But it is cheap enough to keep several around

Effective push-in socket cap

The Nisha PC Socket Cap is a well made plastic cap that pushes into any PC socket. It does not screw, so look elsewhere if you specifically need a screw-in cap. However, it fits firmly and snugly and stays put. I've used them on many of the Nikon film camera bodies.

Works Fine on Fujifilm XPro2; Probably on Most Other Cameras

Apparently there is a problem in the Fujifilm XPro2 design that allows the original equipment PC cap to come out and be lost easily. Trying to find, and then order, a replacement from Fujifilm is a long, tedious experience. This PC cap works fine on the XPro2 and probably would work fine on most other cameras that have a similar PC connection port. Yes, it is a small item (and at a small cost) but it works fine and provides the seal appropriate for outdoor camera use. I purchased four of them as the small caps could get lost easily, once removed from the camera.

I really just wanted something to cover the terminal on my Nikon FE, but wasn't 100% sure this would. For the price however, this seemed to be worth the gamble. It's a perfect fit!

Works with Panasonic GH3

I lost the screw-in PC socket cover from my Panasonic GH3 and decided I really needed one. These things are surprisingly hard to find. While the Nisha socket cap doesn't screw in, it will press on and stay in place. Initially, it's a tight fit so the first press-on needs careful alignment. sI'm certain I will eventually lose this one as well so I got extras.

Does this fit on a Fuji X-Pro 2?
Asked by: Eliseo
It absolutely does. Had to order one as a replacement for the one that came with my X-Pro2. Actually seems to fit a little more snugly than the original, which is good.
