The D-830 Gen 3ST Day/Night Vision Scope from Night Optics is a versatile 2.5 - 10x rifle scope that can be easily transformed from day to night operation without tools. The scope includes a 3rd generation thin-film intensifier night vision optic module. Generation 3 intensifiers produce clearer images with less distortion and last longer than earlier version night vision technology. This night vision device can be used as a hand-held monocular or weapon-mounted system.
The D-830 scope features a large 56mm objective lens, windage/elevation adjustments, and a triplex mil dot ranging reticle to ensure image clarity and accuracy in the most demanding low-light conditions. The autogated image intensifier tube operates to improve image quality in dynamic lighting conditions. Automatic voltage regulation and the ion barrier reduce blooming artifacts caused by bright light, protecting your eyes and the intensifier tube from damage.
The unique design of the D-830 eliminates the need to purchase and maintain separate day and night vision weapon scopes, spend time and ammunition, or carrying separate weapons due to loss of zero settings when changing from day to night optics. The precision manufactured day and night eyepieces can be exchanged while the scope is still mounted with no change in zero.
