The Kramer SDI Switcher (4x1) is for use with serial digital video signals, and can take any 1 of 4 SDI inputs and output the signal to a single SDI output. Using the Kramer Equalization & re-Klocking technology, it offers reclocking and equalization, and can rebuild the digital signal to travel extended distances. In addition to a maximum data rate of 540Mbps, the switcher has a SDI multi-standard operation (SMPTE 259M/344M) and offers an 8-bit and 10-bit 8 video operation that can automatically recognize the word length.
You can rack mount 3 units side-by-side in a 1U rack space (Compact DigiTOOLS) using the RK-3T rack adaptor (optional). The SDI Switcher is compact (4.7 x 2.95 x 0.98" / 12 x 7.5 x 2.5cm) and weighs 0.6 lb (0.25kg). It is ideal for video broadcast studios (signal routing), non-linear editing suites, and video production studios.
