This Manfrotto 1 1/8" (28mm) M10 Male Adapter is often used to add a mount to the yoke of a heavy cinema light or accessory. The M10 screw slips through the hole in the yoke and is secured by the included wing nut. The 1 1/8" stud is then inserted into a stand or similar piece of supporting hardware with a matching "Junior" receiver.

Will this adapter fit on a 5/8" light stand? Will the opening in the bottom fit over a light stand stud? Is that a threaded hole at the bottom side that I can attach a knob?
This adapter would not fit over a 5/8" stud on a light stand. A better option for this is the Avenger E390 TVMP Yoke to Stand Adapter, BH # AVE390.
