The Shinybow SB-5582 8 x 2 Component Video/Stereo Audio Matrix Switcher with RS-232 offers a -3 dB signal bandwidth greater than 250 MHz, maximum up to 325 MHz and channel switch times of less than 25 ns with 1% settling. The switcher has an -83 dB crosstalk and -98 dB isolation (@ 5 MHz). This switcher supports 19” (48.26 cm) rack mounting. It features 8 individual inputs with 2 individual outputs. Since it is a matrix router, any input may be routed to any output, or the same input may be routed to all outputs or any combination. It eliminates the need to constantly move around audio and video input and output cables. The SB-5582 matrix switcher is ideally suited for HDTV (High Definition Television) applications. Control is provided via front push buttons with LED readout or IR remote controller. An RS-232 interface is provided for interfacing with third party control. A Windows-based control software package is included to provide complete control of this switcher from a PC.
