The Crown XTi 1002 Power Amplifier delivers up to 275W per channel at 8 ohms and is an ideal solution for sound reinforcement, nightclub installation, bands, theaters, DJ applications and much more. The XTi 1002 offers highly accurate sound reproduction with very low distortion, perfect for music or voice playback. It has a switch-mode universal power supply so it can be used anywhere. It handles a wide range of speaker impedances and outputs for a high degree of system compatibility.

An array of serious control features are implemented and easily accessed via the included HiQnet Band Manager & System Architect software packages. Crown's Peak Plus Limiters provide the ultimate in system performance and protection. There are 3 user-defined fan modes, adjustable EQ, adjustable crossover filters and much more.

a very reliable power amp

this is the sixth one that I have purchased from B&H; the reason that I have been a repeat customer of this particular power amp is Crown's reputation and the service life I have gotten from this model; this recent purchase was to replace one that had been in use at the church I attend for 13 years; having 3 of these units mounted in a rack made it simple to swap out the speakers being run by this amp (which happened to be the sanctuary main speakers) for the one for the balcony; since the amps were daisy chained in the input from the board, we were up and running without disrupting the church servicet

purchased a crown power amp about 14 years ago for my church's audio needs as the system was upgraded on the strength of crown's reputation and it made an improvement. So a crown xti 1002 was later added to the system when additional speakers were placed in the sanctuary to fill in the audio. So when the original crown amp died after all these years in a humid tropical environment, it was replaced with another xti 1002. The sound reproduction has been outstanding silencing those members with perfect pitch hearing; thanks crown for making my day

The XTi1002 is a Class D amplifier that requires Class 2 output wiring. Does that answer your question?
