The WTI SW720 Sidewinder Surveillance Camera is a high-accuracy day/night camera designed for outdoor application. Featuring a 1/4" type image sensor, the camera offers up to 520 TVL resolution. A 35x optical zoom lens provides 3.4-119mm focal length range and a 12x digital zoom power enables achieving up to 1428mm-equivalent telephoto angle. The lens features a maximum aperture of f/1.4 at the widest angle, rendering the camera suitable for low-light surveillance. Electronic Stabilization compensates for the long zoom lens and helps reproduce shake-free images.
Along with variable-speed pan and tilt mechanism, the SW720 sidewinder camera features continuous 360º rotation in both axes and automatic image flip. 64 presets are available to store variable data for pan position, tilt position, zoom setting, and focus setting. The camera's control data protocol supports Pelco D and Pelco P codes without the use of additional protocol converter hardware.
The IP66 and IP67-rated weatherproof enclosure protects the SW720 sidewinder camera from heavy rains and withstands immersion depth of 1m for up to 30 minutes. A low-maintenance, hydrophilic-coated, non-fogging camera faceplate window ensures clear visibility in challenging weathers. The extreme-weather camera stays operational in the temperature range of -29.2 to 165.2º F (-34 to +74º C). Its NEMA TS-2-rated rugged housing made of corrosion-resistant materials (powder-coated aluminum and stainless steel) makes the surveillance camera suitable for use in all outdoor environments and under all shock and vibration conditions.
