Will these earpads fit on standard Sony MDR-v6 headphones to increase isolation from outside noise?
Nope. These earpads are made for headphones adapted from aircraft headphones - the Remote Audio HN-7506 headphones have Sony MDR-V6 drivers in large plastic aircraft / nascar style shells. If you want Sony MDR V6 sound reproduction with maximum external noise reduction the HN-7506's are a good way to go.
