Symphony 64 PCIe Card from Apogee Electronics is the core of the Symphony System and provides the flexibility of up to 64 channels of input and output. The PCIe card is the communication interface between the computer and the I/O interface and features a driver design that provides an elegant and rock solid connection, capable of delivering incredibly low latency.
The pairing of Symphony's driver performance under OS X and the strength of Apple's Mac Pro provides a superior foundation for any Core Audio based studio, and sets the stage for advanced technologies like Symphony's SBus and VBus. Rosetta 200, 800 and the AD and DA 16X converters can also utilize the card when equipped with an optional X-Symphony card.
