The DSLR Shoulder & Tripod Mounting System is a limited period package available from Genus and includes the Genus Shoulder Brace Kit, Matte Box and Rail Adaptor, and the Adaptor Bars System for DSLR Cameras.
You can use the Shoulder Brace Kit to customize the rig to suit your camera type and shooting style. Highly configurable owing to individual components being available in a kit, the Shoulder Brace kit allows you to easily assemble and disassemble the rig. Mini camcorders and DSLR cameras are easily accommodated via an adjustable vertical bracket integrated into the camera mount bracket. Balancing the camera and the rig is aided via the Shoulder Brace that provides a true pivot point for your shoulder. With more contact points to your body, the Shoulder Brace Kit augments the stability of the rig.
You can easily clip and fasten the Matte Box onto your lens and eliminate light glare. Optimally suited to all types of lenses, the Matte Box integrates a wide rayshade that accommodates wide angle lenses. Also included are 2 filter trays; 1 wide and the other standard 360° rotatable. You can use the Matte Box with lenses and wide angle adaptors up to 105mm owing to a clamp ring. A tight fit between the lens adaptor ring and the clamp ring of the Matte Box is ensured via a Don-Nut adaptor ring.
The Adaptor Bars System for DSLR Cameras integrates a high base plate that allows the addition of external accessories to your camera. You can achieve precise alignment via variable positioning with vertical & horizontal brace. You can retract the bars when not in use, to reduce the unit to a compact size. Tightening and loosening the Adaptor Bars System is facilitated via easy-grip turn knobs. You can attach extra bars to the specially designed threaded cores of the bars integrated into the Adaptor Bars System.
