The Deep 24" 4U Roto Shock Rack by SKB is an ATA rated roto-molded shock and water resistant rack with wheels. It's front and rear rails are compatible with any 19" rack-mountable gear but has been especially designed for deep rack-mounted components such as Dell and Compaq servers.

Built for impact, the Roto Shock has eight adjustable elastomer shock absorbers with provisions to add more shocks for heavier loads. The compound hinged doors have recessed stainless steel latches that help ensure a secure close. Gasket sealed doors and a pressure relief valve also add to this airtight design. The latches are replaceable in the field and the 4" wheels are removable but regardless, the Roto Shock stacks securely with or without the wheels on.

SKB 24" D Shock Rack Reviews

I would NOT ever buy more of these cases.

once equipment is loaded in this rack, the frame bends and otherwise distorts, to the point that closing the front and or rear door is next to impossible. It takes four people pushing, pulling, lifting and hitting the doors to get them to a point where the latches can mate. I have used Anvil cases for years, and that is exactly where I am going back to.

Hope this works

We're putting a bunch of gear in this and strapping it in the back of a truck and going down tank trails. The shock mounts seemed a little too stiff to the other guys but we'll see how it works.

Can you remove the wheels from the rack and put them back again? The reason I am asking is because I will have the put the rack on a table and it wouldn't look good with the wheels below it. It would be great to be able to remove them while we use it and to put them back on when we are done using it.

Yes, this does have removeable casters.
