Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Locks but Don't bet your Laptop/Camera on it I purchased these locks to use with a large but inexpensive plastic trunk that I check with my luggage. If pressed on hard enough, the clasps on this trunk will pop open, so I needed something to hold it secure in transit. I was using plastic zip-ties, but TSA will clip them off if they need to look inside. Build quality is decent and I've not had any issues with the mechanics. These locks will not adequately secure valuable luggage. Any baggage handler can pop them open with a small screwdriver (if you don't believe this, look up examples on youtube). With domestic US flights, you should never check valuable items with your luggage. Federal law caps airline liability at something like $200/bag. In the case of theft, you're unlikely to even get reimbursed the full cost of the bag, let alone anything inside.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works fine, just it I bought ten of these locks to use in my bags to return to Brazil. The TSA opened one of the bags and the two padlocks that were in it stopped working. The construction of them is fragile and appears not much security. In short, it's beautiful, has secret 4-digit (most have 3) and it works. But defenitivamente is not the best option.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wouldn't waste your money... I've used these on two flights now and each flight broke one. I had my hard case returned to me without the padlocks. When I opened the case, I noticed TSA had just put them inside because it had broke from moving around by baggage claim. I will be looking for a more flexible option to handle the pressure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I Needed The price is great, for one, let alone 2 of these locks. I use them for all of my Pelican Cases. They are easily programmed, quick to unlock, and hold tough. There is no theft proof lock, but these are a strong deterrent and I feel confident with these keeping my Pelicans closed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TSA combination padlock So far I haven't had any problems with them. They work fine and didn't cost an arm and a leg. The fact that the combinations can be changed is good so that one can change the combinations periodically. They are fine so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product Quality is great and they were easy to set the combination. I have not used them for air travel yet, but don't anticipate any problems. I used them on my Pelican iM2100 Storm Case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my second set. This new set looks better than the ones I have been using for several years. I like having 4 numbers better than the 3 number model that you can buy anywhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Works really well and I like the fact that it;s a4 number combination and not 3. I would have liked the lock loop to be slightly longer.
