Axis Communications Q6032-E Overview

The Axis Communications Q6032-E PTZ Dome Network Camera (Outdoor) with a 1/4” ExView HAD progressive scan CCD image sensor delivers high-quality imagery in D1 resolution (720 x 480 in 60 Hz, 720 x 576 in 50 Hz). It has a focal length of 3.4-119mm with 35x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom. H.264 compression technology helps in saving storage space and reduces the amount of bandwidth needed, without compromising on image quality.

A minimum illumination of 0.5 lux (color) at 30 IRE (f/1.4) and 0.008 lux (monochrome) at 30 IRE (f/1.4) makes the camera suitable for use in fairly low-light conditions. With fast and accurate pan/tilt response, the camera can tilt 20° above the horizon for an extended tilt range of 220°, ensuring a good viewing angle in uneven terrain. Auto-tracking enables the camera to automatically detect and follow a moving object within its field-of-view. Wide dynamic range improves the view in bright and low illuminated areas.

High PoE (IEEE 802.3at) supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. Arctic temperature control helps the camera to not only function at -40°F (-40°C) but also power up at that temperature following a power failure. Installation is easy as it requires no external housing.
