First thing you notice is that the bag opens away from your body providing you with a clear view of what's inside - but protecting the contents from stray nearby eyes. The entire exterior is water-resistant and further supported by the included rain fly that will cover the entire bag. No need to worry if you get caught in a summer's downpour. Even the bottom of the bag is water-proof because Tenba understands that, occasionally, you need to put the bag on the ground - and sometimes it's wet outside. The overlapping zipper design protects what is traditionally a weak point of all bags. The no-twist shoulder strap is contoured and contains a non-slip shoulder pad that will make walking around all day comfortable. Two decent-sized zippered cargo pockets, one on each side, can hold accessories such as a lightmeter, phone or small digital point-shoot camera. You'll notice the pockets are cut at an angle that will make accessing them even easier. In the back, the panel is air meshed for circulation and comfort.

On the inside, the Discovery contains about eight very well padded dividers that can be configured to your liking. Lens cradles will cushion your camera rig. Dual front accessory zippered pockets are designed to hold everything from batteries to cables and memory cards. You'll use these for business cards, pens, glasses, or anything you need fast access to.

One of the real "wow" features of the Discovery is the "pop-out" camera compartment that is held in a removable insert. Keep a rig in there and when you don't need it for a shoot, just open the compartment, slide it out, re-seal the bag and you're off.
