Yes, it will fit "most" wallets. Some wallets have smaller credit card slots which is beyond me.

All you need for white balance measurement is a small spot - and this card is perfect!
Also - It's called a White Balance "Pocket Card" because it small enough to carry around.

My canon xti 400D says to use a sheet of white paper. Will this enhance my white balance even more or throw it off since it's gray?
In Live View and with the Histogram active on your camera's LCD, aim and move the camera over the white surface (i.e. wall, etc) until the collection of graphical vertical bars are in the centre of the histogram. The tighter the width along the x-axis of the group of bars the closer your reading will be to a true grey card. This method may take more time, but try it if you don't have a grey card handy. If you do have a grey card, take it to your paint store and grab a couple of free flat or eggshell finished paint chip cards matching the grey card and keep it in your wallet or camera bag for emergency use. By all means, buy the WhiBal reference card which is as close to accuracy as one can achieve. I have the 3.5 x 6" version and it works for my purposes.
