Comtek PR-216 Reviews
Never Worked
Used in conjunction with the M-216 Comtek with about a foot of range. Never really worked from the day I bought it but just thought it was due to poor frequencies in my area. If you want to transmit from a bag rig I suggest going Lectrosonic IFBs / Sennheiser G3 units or purchasing the Comtek BST-25 cart rig version of this.
Comtek PR-216 P7 Rx is versatile
The Comtek PR-216 Option 7 Receiver is a versatile creature. It can be used as a normal IFB receiver for key crew or clients with the bonus of an extended range, or to send a mono-mix scratch-track signal to the camera(s). I also attach the PR-216 Option 7 Receiver to a monitor speaker and send production audio signal to video village. Attach a M-216 P7 to a TC slate and send TC signal to PR-216 P7 Receiver(s) mounted to the camera(s) and your recorder. A solid and inexpensive receiver, adding a bit of versatility to any sound technician's kit.
