The Leonardo Piccolo weighs in at just 16.1 lb versus the standard Leonardo's 26 lb and it's about 20% smaller than the studio version as well. With a beam spread from 10-49°, this is the perfect light for a key light or backlight as well as sun or sharp shadow effects. Flooded out, it's great for punching through a silk. Although lighter than the studio line, you can expect similar rugged construction and silky performance evident throughout the DeSisti Brand. The 2K Leonardo Piccolo accepts 1000W and 2000W G38-based lamps. A full line of accessories is available, including barndoors, snoots, gel holders, and scrims. Lamps and accessories must be purchased separately.

Optics and Focusing
The focusing system uses Teflon bushings, which glide over chrome-plated brass rods, eliminating the binding and slippage associated with metal bushings. This helps the rails stay clean and avoids pitting. The Leonardo Piccolo has a 6" (152 mm) Fresnel lens with a bi-metallic clad aluminum reflector. You can focus from the front or rear.
