The Zacuto Z-EQM EVF Quick Release Mount consists of a ZUD 1/4 20” Quick Release Mount and Zicro Mini Universal Quick Release Mount. It is used to quickly re-position the EVF to use a different shooting method.
The ZUD ¼-20” Quick Release Mount is used to attach or detach the articulating arm from the camera. It converts ¼-20" or 3/8-16" screws to 15mm rods and allows them to fit into Zacuto Z-Release components like the Z-mount, 15mm Z-locks, ZicroMount, and other Zacuto 15mm locking devices. You can also screw-in a male rod at the end of the ZUD Mount and create an extension for your articulating arm.
With the Zicro Mini, you can attach camera accessories such as EVF and articulating arms to a 15mm rod via a ¼-20" screw hole. It supports devices such as an LED light or a small sound recorder and monitors up to 6" (15.2 cm).
You can attach the ZUD ¼-20" Mount to a standard ¼-20" male screw on top of the Hotshoe Ball Mount and attach the Zicro Mini to the bottom of your EVF via the ¼-20" screw, and slide it onto the ZUD. With the help of lever on the Zicro Mini, you can easily attach and detach the EVF from the camera.
