The KanexPro HDMI True 4 x 4 Matrix Switcher over CAT5e/6 with RS-232 allows you to route high-resolution video, audio, and control signals from any 4 sources to 4 independent displays over an HDMI or CAT5e/6 cable. Four integrated receivers allow you to extend, switch, and distribute high-resolution signals up to 1080p to 4 remote displays. The Switcher also features a built-in repeater for cable input and equalization. In addition to a data transfer rate of up to 6.75Gbps, the HDMI Matrix Switcher provides output with resolutions up to 1080p and WUXGA (1920 x 1200@60Hz) and allows for buffering and amplification of HDMI signals. The EDID and HDCP compliant switcher also supports digital audio via HDMI.
You can use the HDMI cables to achieve long distance transmission up to 50' (15m) without any signal loss and Cat5e cables for up to 131' (40m). Four IR remotes with IR blasters allow you to control the receivers. An RS-232 port is included for full control via a PC or touch panels. In addition, the 4 x 4 Matrix Switcher uses a 5V DC external power supply (included) for operation and comes with a rack-mountable metal enclosure.
