The Bosch KBE-455V55-21NV Prepackaged Camera System (5-50mm) includes an NBC-455-22P Dinion Outdoor IP Camera, an LTC 3374/50 Varifocal Lens, and an LTC 9215/00 Indoor/Outdoor Mount.
With a 1/3" color progressive scan CCD sensor, the NBC-455-22P Dinion Camera delivers clear images at a horizontal resolution up to 540TVL. It incorporates enhanced Digital Signal Processing technology, which increases sensitivity, and an Auto Black function that enhances contrast in color pictures by dynamically stretching the illumination levels in scenes to reduce the darkest areas to (near) black.
With H.264 compression, bandwidth throttling, and multicasting capabilities, the Dinion IP Camera resourcefully handles bandwidth and storage requirements, while offering high picture quality and resolution. The M-JPEG video stream offers easy coalition with other JPEG or M-JPEG-compatible video management systems. The Bilinx technology enables you to change the camera settings, check status, and update firmware from anywhere via the coaxial cable. In addition, the technology uses the standard video cable to transmit alarm and status messages, improving the overall performance of the camera and reducing the service/installation time.
IVA (Intelligence Video Analysis) bases the IVA algorithm on digital imaging technology that uses multilevel image analysis of pixels, texture, and object direction. The Dinion IP Camera is compliant with ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum), which enables the exchange and use of information between network video products to exchange live video, audio, metadata, and control information, and the systems are auto detected and connected to video management systems.
The NBC-455-22P Dinion IP camera features a LensWizard, which detects the lens type automatically and helps to maintain accurate lens focus. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE; hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. You can also use a UPS (uninterruptible power source) with PoE to handle power failures. The outdoor camera includes a heater and blower to maintain the internal temperature of the unit and a sunshield to protect the unit from direct sunlight.
The LTC 3374/50 Varifocal Lens offers a focal length ranging from 5-50mm for 1/3” image sensors. A maximum aperture (f-stop) of f/1.7-360 ensures high-quality images even in low-light conditions. In addition, manual focus and zoom control allow precise focusing of objects. The lens is equipped with a DC-iris control connection that is a 4-pin standard plug that connects directly to the camera’s iris output. The lens has a CS lens mount and comes with a robust construction, making it ideal for use with surveillance cameras.
The LTC 9215/00 Indoor/Outdoor Mount can easily hold fixed camera or camera housing installations weighing up to 20 lb (9 kg). Made of lightweight aluminum and with a welded construction, the mount is corrosion-resistant and suitable for rigid environments. The versatile swivel head adds flexibility by rotating up to 360° and providing tilt up to 180°. The tubular feed-through design hides the cable that runs from the mounting head to the mounting surface, thus deterring vandals and thieves from cutting the wires.
