It’s Pelican pick and pluck foam. It works fantastic. I’ve used other foam, like Nanuk before and had a real hard time with it. Pelican comes apart easily and stays together well. I personally take all of my foam and spray it with Plasti-dip to set it permanently. Works like a charm

The individual foam cubes sizes for the Pelican 1451 3 Piece Foam Set - for Pelican 1450 Case (Replacement) are not specified by Pelican, but the size of the pre-scored foam cubes on all Pelican cases are usually approximately 1cm² (0.4in²). However, do note this will vary slightly depending on the size of the case the insert is made for
