The crank handle looks exactly like those on our studio’s old boom though be aware it was not the same size. We had to drill out by an 1/8th to 1/4th inch to have it fit on crank shaft. Once that was accomplished crank works perfectly. In the decades since we purchased the boom Manfrotto downsized shaft diameter. Not a big deal though it is important to know. Our boom is from the late 80’s. They last!

This is in fact the correct part to replace my broken crank. The replacement was difficult in part due to a lack of proper tools, and maybe bad technique, but I did eventually remove the old pin holding the broken crank stub and the actual replacement was easy at that point.
