Key Features
- Protects Your Lens from Flare
- Extends / Shades End of Lens
- Blocks Unwanted Light
- Extra Protection Against Impact
The Dot Line Wide-Angle 58mm Lens Hood is a shield for your wide-angle camera lens or zoom lens that covers a wide angle. The hood protects your lens from flare, which is caused by the entrance of unwanted stray light. By extending and shading the end of the lens, the hood blocks unwanted light from entering. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection against accidental impact. This hood may be used on lenses of size 24mm and up.

Will this work for a 15mm-45mm lens on a APS sensor?
If you are referring to the Canon EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM, as the lens has 49mm filter threads, you would need to purchase the Dot Line Wide-Angle 49mm Lens Hood, B&H # DODL0481, for your usage needs.

question
an 67mm rubber lens hood be used in Sony FE24 - 70 mm. F4.0 ZA without Vignette?
While we would love to test this and make sure, unfortunately, we cannot. It is our opinion, however, that no vignetting will occur particularly if you have no filter. As an option, you can also consider the all metal hood that we know works. Sensei PRO 67mm Wide Angle Aluminum Lens Hood B&H # SELHMW67

question
Does the front of the hood accept threaded filters also? If so what size?
No, the front of the hood does not accept threaded filters.

question
Does the hood have threads to screw in a filter, and if so are thet 52mm like the hood?
Since this is for wide angle lenses, there is no filter thread in the front since having a filter there would most likely cause vignetting. Dot Line's regular rubber hoods do have front filter threads.

question
Can 67mm rubber lens hood be used in Sony FE24 - 70 mm. F4.0 ZA without Vignette?
This hood on the Sony FE24 - 70 mm. F4.0 ZA and a full frame camera will not vignette. We would however, like to suggest considering the following as a more useful hood. Dot Line Tele-Wide 67mm Lens Hood B&H # DODL92967. You will have to adjust the hood at different focal lengths. This we find more useful at 70mm than the wide angle hood. And don't forget the Sony ALC-SH130 Lens Hood B&H # SOALCSH130 which has that OEM look and practability.

question
Does it have internal (front) threads that are the same size as the rear threads?
Yes, there are same size front filter threads on this hood which will allow filters to be screwed on.
