The e mount flange is not correctly machined, does not fit correctly on the Sony� Alpha7RMII camera.
Ordered this unit to use with my old Canon 7 lenses, which have the same 39mm Thread as a Leica.� I ordered to try out my old lenses.� Initial indications were that the Canon and Leica screws have different thread. I confirm they are the same, as the fit of the lens on the adapter is perfect. The adapter fitted very smoothly on my NEX-7, Itis a very tight fit on my brand new ILCE-7RMkII have checked with Sony vendor in Sri Lanka, and found that it fitted on only two of the 6 units that were on Display. It must be a problem of machining clearances on the E-Mount side.� Focusing is a difficulty but cannot complain as there is no way this lens can send a message to the camera body of the status of the focus point. The Magnification assistance from the camera body is not available. So strictly a bit difficult to use as the focus markings on the lens are not correct. The size of the camera and lens assembly becomes perfect. very compact and handy for carrying, the reason for trying this experiment., but may fail.
