Switronix PB70-EX24 PowerBase 70 Battery & GP-H56S LED Light Kit for Sony EX Camcorders

The Switronix PB70-EX24 PowerBase 70 Battery & GP-H56S LED Light Kit for Sony EX Camcorders from B&H packages professional power and illumination for your Sony XDCAM EX model camera. The kit includes not only the light and the battery, but also a Switronix PB70C PowerBase Charger, a 9-240V AC charger that returns a full charge to the battery in 4-5 hours.

The PB70EX24 is designed to run the EX series camcorder for up to 5 hours, along with up to two 12V DC input devices via its PowerTap outputs. One of those devices will likely be the kit's GP-H56S light, an 85W-equivalent, daylight balanced LED light that draws only 16W.

The light and battery are intended to mount conveniently to your camcorder – the battery can attach underneath and double as a grip, or, thanks to its 24" cable, it can be mounted at the back of a shoulder-mount rig, for example. The light attaches to any 1/4"-20 stud or to a standard shoe mount.
