The Appassionata Strings provide larger-than-life Hollywood string sounds; in particular, the legato and sul-G-performances, with varying intensities of vibrato, provide a passionate, large and epic string sound. These big strings are designed for all kinds of cinematic music, from slow and lush themes to fast action scores.
Appassionata Strings I Upgrade to Full Library from the Vienna Symphonic Library provides additional articulations and samples for the Appassionata Strings I virtual instrument Standard Library (required). The complete sample based instrument contains "passionate" string ensembles with sounds that are lush and cinematic in scope, and perfectly integrate into a wide variety of musical styles.
The instrumentation features a Violin ensemble (20 musicians), Viola ensemble (14 musicians) and a Cello ensemble (12 musicians). The Appassionata Strings I bass section of 10 musicians include 6 five-string and 4 four-string basses, giving the low end a deep and rich flavor.
From pop and rock to symphonic arrangements, emotional ballads to films, the four string sections offer various sustains and legato performances, with different intensities of vibrato.
