Backlight Compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light. With Auto White Balance, the dome camera adjusts the red and blue signals by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors. Besides, the indoor/outdoor camera includes features such as privacy masking, text caption overlay, and exposure control.
Motion Detection triggers an alarm when motion is detected in a designated portion of the video display and Triple-Window Video Motion Detection is used to customize the motion detection system for monitoring specific areas. The Network Camera's tamper detection feature triggers an alarm when the camera is being tampered with incidents such as redirected, blocked, defocused or spray-painted. The MicroSD/SDHC card slot for on-board storage prevents data loss due to network connection and also makes efficient use of bandwidth by reducing the transmission of unnecessary data. Muilti-level user access with password protection restricts access to unauthorized persons, while IP filtering restricts access to 1 or more user groups. User groups can be created with an IP address range being defined for each group.
With the flexible 3-axis mechanism, the dome camera can be easily installed on ceiling and wall mount applications. The 32-channel recording software allows you to simultaneously monitor and record videos for multiple network cameras. The vandal-resistant IK10-rated and waterproof IP66-rated metal housing protects the camera against rain and dust, making the camera suitable for use in extreme weather conditions.
