The Kramer Multi-Format Analog & HD-SDI Video Processor allows you to convert composite video, s-Video (Y/C), component video (YUV) and HD-SDI video signals. It also functions as a ProcAmp, TBC (time base corrector) and a format converter. Additionally, it allows you to view both the original and processed images on the split screen output simultaneously.
With multi-format capability, the Multi-Format Processor accepts SDI or selected high-definition input and produces simultaneous composite video, s-Video, component video (YUV or Y/R-Y/B-Y) and HD-SDI output. The Multiple Standard Conversion feature allows you to convert any worldwide analog or digital television standard to another standard depending on your needs. The television standards utilized are PAL-B/M/N, NTSC-3.58.4.43, SECAM and SD/HD. ProcAmp Control allows you to adjust parameters such as contrast, brightness, H/V sharpness, level/gain and full range of color control in YUV and RGB color spaces.
Built-in Time Base Corrector allows you to rectify timing errors, while the Screen Splitter function allows you to view an image before and after processing in composite and YUV (for an SD source) or YUV (for an HD source). Timing controls for studio synchronization feature H/V chroma delay. You can access common audio and video configurations and audio gain status for each output using the 16 preset memory locations. Additionally, the Front Panel Lockout feature of the Multi-Format Analog & HD-SDI Video Processor helps prevent tampering.
The Multi-Format Processor can be controlled using the front panel buttons or remotely via RS-232. It has a standard 19" rack mount size, fits 1U rack space, and requires 100-240V AC power supply.
