The Kramer 16 x 16 Composite Video and Balanced Stereo Audio Matrix Switcher comes with a Preview Monitor and allows you to switch between any of the 16 high-resolution video and balanced stereo audio inputs and 16 outputs. Vertical interval switching ensures glitch-free switching with genlocked sources. The switcher supports a bandwidth of up to 90MHz (-3dB) fully loaded.
A built-in 3.5” (8.9cm) LCD display and audio headphone output with volume control allow you to monitor the video and audio of any channel before and after switching. The input and output video signals can be sent via BNC connectors, while the audio signals can be sent via detachable terminal block connectors.
You can recall and execute common video and audio configurations and audio gain status for each output using the preset memory locations. With the Take Button you can execute multiple switches simultaneously, while Audio Breakaway Switching helps in switching audio independently from video. Vertical Interval Switching, in compliance with SMPTE RP-168, helps to synchronize output to an external reference or incoming video. Additionally, the 16 x 16 Composite Video & Balanced Stereo Audio Matrix Switcher also includes features such as Selectable Sync Signal Termination and Looping Sync Input.
Based on the K-Router, a Windows-based Kramer control software, the 16 x 16 Composite Video and Balanced Stereo Audio Matrix Switcher is suitable for use in production and duplications facilities, rental and staging facilities, and security, CCTV, and home theater systems. The device can be controlled using the front panel buttons, or remotely via RS-232, RS-485, contact closure, or IR remote control. It has a standard 19” rack mount size, fits 2U rack space, and requires a 100-240V AC power supply.
